"Ryder" is a 2004 dark bay thoroughbred gelding. He had a short racing career due to a bowed tendon. That tendon is now 100% healed. He has been started with light work and exercise in the round pen. I started him slowly so he gets a good foundation to work with when he is under saddle. This boy is as handsome as they come! You have never seen a good looking thoroughbred until you have seen him. He has got a spunky personality which will do him wonders in the show arena! Ryder would make someone an excellent hunter/jumper or all around prospect. He has great movement and head collection! I cant keep him only because of financial difficulties which is why I am also offering him for so little (for a quick sale). He has great bloodlines that will back up his performance career. He is a grandson of Seattle Slew and Mr. Prospector (a great grandfather to Smarty Jones and many other top racehorses). You cant get a much better pedigree for this price. He clips, trailers, bathes, get shod, loads, etc. He is up to date on everything. UPDATE: He has been saddled and ridden for the past 6 months now and is doing great! He is a little spunky to start out with but calms down and gets to work. He has been on trails, to shows, ridden english, ridden western, done a few barrel patterns, done some small jumps, etc. he is willing to please and loves praise. This is one smart boy who learns quickly!
